The No. 3 seeded Oklahoma Sooners softball team begins a best-of-three NCAA Norman Super Regional series against the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Love's Field in Norman, Oklahoma.

The winner advances to the Women's College World Series at Devon Park in Oklahoma City.

Game 1 airs nationally on ESPN2 and streams on ESPN+.

Game 2 is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, at noon Central Time on ESPN, with an if-necessary Game 3 on Sunday, May 24.

Sooners' Dominant Run

Oklahoma enters the series with an 18-game winning streak in NCAA Super Regional contests dating back to 2015, including a perfect 4-0 record at Love's Field.

The Sooners earned the regular season Southeastern Conference title and placed four underclassmen—Kendall Wells, Kai Minor, Gabbie Garcia, and Ella Parker—on the USA Collegiate Softball Player of the Year Top 25 list.

Freshman outfielder Kai Minor leads the team with a . 446 batting average, while freshman Kendall Wells set the single-season school record with 37 home runs.

On the mound, sophomore pitchers Audrey Lowry and Miali Guachino have combined for a 37-5 record across 211.2 innings pitched this season.

Oklahoma completed its regional round with an 8-1 victory over Michigan, following consecutive five-inning shutout performances against Binghamton and Kansas.

Mississippi State's Path

Mississippi State advanced to its second-ever Super Regional appearance by sweeping the Eugene Regional, defeating Saint Mary's twice and host Oregon.
