The Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Colorado Avalanche 5-3 in Game 3 of their playoff series on Monday, rallying from a three-goal deficit.

Colorado star forward Nathan MacKinnon briefly exited the game with a leg injury.

MacKinnon blocked a slapshot from Vegas defenseman Shea Theodore with 7:52 remaining in the second period.
