Wembanyama Nears Suspension
The game grew tense in the third quarter when Victor Wembanyama hit Karl-Anthony Towns in the jaw with his elbow.
Officials reviewed the play and assessed a Flagrant 1 foul, giving New York two free throws.
Wembanyama now has three flagrant foul points in the postseason, following a Flagrant 2 in the second round.
Under NBA rules, one more flagrant point would trigger an automatic one-game suspension.
