The home run came off Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola at American Family Field.
Brewers left-hander Shane Drohan pitched five innings, striking out a career-high seven batters. He allowed a leadoff single in the sixth before exiting after 78 pitches.
Philadelphia had taken a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning. Bryson Stott hit an RBI double, and J.
T. Realmuto followed with an RBI single.
The Brewers responded in the bottom of the fourth when Garrett Mitchell hit a two-run home run to center field after a single by William Contreras.
Edmundo Sosa drove in the first run of the game for the Phillies with a two-out solo home run in the second inning off an 0-2 pitch from Drohan.
The Brewers hold a 42-25 record and lead the National League Central division.
The series concludes on June 14 with Milwaukee left-hander Kyle Harrison scheduled to face Philadelphia left-hander Cristopher Sánchez.
