The Bovensiepen 05 GT, the second model from the company founded by the Alpina family, transforms the BMW 5-Series Touring into a high-performance estate with 790 hp.
It uses the same plug-in hybrid 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 as the BMW M5 Touring, but with a new air intake, titanium Akrapovic exhaust, and software tweaks, power rises to 790 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque.
The wagon accelerates to 62 mph in under 3.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 190 mph.
It weighs 5,632 lbs, just 11 lbs more than the M5 Touring.
Subtle Exterior, Luxurious Interior
Designed by Frank Stephenson, the 05 GT features a new front bumper, mesh grille, 21-inch forged wheels, side skirts, roof spoiler, and quad tailpipes, but remains understated compared to typical Alpina products.
Inside, the seats are retrimmed in Lavalina leather sourced from select European farms, and the steering wheel is wrapped in new leather.
Buyers can choose from various leather colors.
Suspension upgrades include Eibach springs, modified support bearings, and a strut tower brace.
Deliveries are planned for the fourth quarter of 2025, with prices starting at €198,900 ($230,700).
