Hyundai has revealed the all-new i20 in Brazil, transforming the subcompact hatchback into a baby crossover with SUV-inspired styling and a larger body.
The new i20 adopts a crossover stance with plastic cladding around the bumpers and wheel arches, blacked-out pillars, and a flat roofline, giving it the look of a shrunken SUV similar to the Creta.

Design cues borrow from the Ioniq 3, including a large grille, full-width LED running lights with Lamborghini-style DRLs, a sculpted profile, rising beltline, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on the flagship trim.
Dimensions and Platform
The Brazilian-spec i20 rides on a 2,580 mm wheelbase, identical to the outgoing European third-gen model.
Overall length grows to 4,130 mm, and height reaches 1,505 mm.
Hyundai confirmed that the European version will share the same architecture but differ in design, powertrain, interior, and suspension.
Interior and Technology
Inside, a free-standing digital cockpit pairs two 12.3-inch displays.
Physical buttons and knobs remain below the touchscreen and on the steering wheel, with a separate climate panel on the center console.
The Ultimate trim features bi-tone synthetic leather upholstery.
Engines and Transmissions
The Brazilian i20 skips electrification entirely, offering combustion engines that run on gasoline or ethanol.

A naturally aspirated 1.0-liter three-cylinder produces up to 79 hp, while a turbocharged version delivers 113 hp.
Both engines are paired with front-wheel drive and a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes.
