PSV Eindhoven officially revealed its new away kit for the 2026/2027 season on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

The shirt features a white base with orange, pink, and purple accents, drawing inspiration from the Eindhoven sunrise.

The design was created by German sportswear brand Puma.

The club launched the kit for online purchase and in official fan shops at €99.95 for adults and €79.95 for children.

Fan Backlash on Social Media

The vibrant color scheme and modified club logo provoked instant backlash on social media platform X. Anonymous users expressed severe disappointment regarding the aesthetic choices.

"De eerste prijs is binnen boys," one user wrote cynically. Another critic, Rob, questioned the club's design decisions: "Hoe krijg je dit verzonnen?

Niet elke afdeling is op het niveau van de kampioen."

Supporters also expressed frustration over the alteration of the club emblem and the exclusion of traditional colors.

"Supporters roepen al jaren dat het logo origineel in rood/wit moet blijven, maar dit wordt gewoon maximaal genegeerd, zeer kwalijk!"

said an anonymous fan.

Some fans called for more involvement in the design process.

One supporter suggested online voting: "Kunt toch gewoon je supporters raadplegen en hen de designs laten maken, en dan ook gewoon de boel voorleggen in een online stemming."

Others proposed organized protests. Melvin D.

wrote: "Als je hier als supporters zijnde niet over in opstand komt dan kan je beter opdoeken."

Another commentator questioned the approval process: "Normaal doen, dit komt toch niet serieus door de keuring heen man."

On Facebook, reactions were mixed but slightly more favorable. Noud commented: "Niet verkeerd, alleen weer jammer van het logo."

An anonymous user defended the design: "Het is niet mooi maar wel uniek, en dat vind ik ook wel belangrijk."
