Feyenoord is aggressively restructuring its first-team roster on June 16, 2026, by targeting several high-profile signings.

The moves aim to prepare for upcoming departures and secure quality depth ahead of their European campaign, according to the Dick Voormekaar Podcast Extra.

The Rotterdam-based club is heavily linked with securing striker Nacho Ferri from Westerlo and midfielder Charles Vanhoutte from OGC Nice.

This proactive strategy is driven by the club's board.

Journalist Martijn Krabbendam explained that the move for the OGC Nice midfielder is designed to physically reinforce the team's central options amid an expected exodus of current players.

"The chance is very high that this will happen," said Krabbendam, a journalist for Voetbal International.

The incoming transfer strategy directly addresses the anticipated departure of midfielder In-beom Hwang, who is projected to move to Liga MX side CF Monterrey.

That club is managed by former Feyenoord executive Dennis te Kloese.

"Vanhoutte is a player they think can give body to the midfield. That also has to do with the departure of Inbeom Hwang.

I suspect he will leave, maybe to the club of Dennis te Kloese (CF Monterrey, ed. ).

You also hear rumors that Jakub Moder is leaving, that they want to select further. You must see the arrival of Vanhoutte in that light," said Krabbendam.

In addition to midfield reinforcements, Feyenoord has reignited its pursuit of Las Palmas defender Mika Mármol.
