The Seattle Mariners reinstated star catcher Cal Raleigh and veteran infielder J. P.

Crawford from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, ahead of their six-game homestand opener against the Baltimore Orioles at T-Mobile Park.

Raleigh returned to action 33 days after suffering a right oblique strain on May 14, marking the first injured list stint of his career.

He delivered a game-winning, two-run single in the seventh inning to secure a 3-1 victory for Seattle.

Crawford also returned to the lineup 10 days after sustaining a right hand contusion from a pitch in Detroit.

He finished 1-for-2 with two walks while making his franchise debut at third base to accommodate rookie shortstop Colt Emerson.

Manager and Players React to Returns

"Obviously, getting Cal back is huge," said Dan Wilson, manager of the Seattle Mariners.

"Having him behind the plate and active and ready to go is a huge lift."

"Just watching him at third base, the fluidity, the smoothness that he plays with at shortstop, you see that at third base, too," Wilson added about Crawford's defensive versatility.

Raleigh entered the game batting .

161 with seven home runs, following a 2025 season where he finished second in the American League MVP voting after hitting 60 home runs.

He spent his rehabilitation assignment with High-A Everett and Triple-A Tacoma, batting . 412 with five home runs and 12 RBIs across five games.
