Coach Vladimir Petkovic introduced Nabil Bentaleb at halftime, which stabilized the midfield and reduced Jordan's control.
Algeria grew into the game and found an equalizer in the 69th minute when Benbouali scored with a header past goalkeeper Abulaila.
Amine Gouiri then scored the decisive goal in the 82nd minute with a subtle deflection, securing all three points for Algeria.
