The Toronto Raptors selected Arizona Wildcats guard Jaden Bradley with the No. 50 overall pick in the second round of the 2026 NBA Draft on June 25, 2026.

The move aims to bolster the team's backcourt depth.

College Career and Development

Bradley spent three years with the Wildcats after transferring from Alabama prior to the 2023-24 season.

He secured a starting role during his junior and senior years, averaging 13.3 points and 4.4 assists per game while shooting over 39 percent from beyond the arc this past season.

College basketball icon Dick Vitale praised Bradley's veteran presence and named him to his Rolls Royce team.

"The Wildcats' dynamic guard controls games with his scoring, playmaking and rock steadiness," Vitale said.

Bradley's performance included a notable buzzer-beating 3-pointer against Iowa State during the Big 12 Tournament in March.

Arizona Wildcats On SI contributor Justin Backer noted the guard's rapid progression.

"In his three seasons with Arizona, Bradley has gone from a solid backup guard off the bench to arguably the team’s best player in a short span of time," Backer wrote.

Backer added that Bradley's rise coincided with one of the best seasons in Arizona history, and he has a knack for hitting timely shots in close games.

Addressing Roster Needs

The addition helps address playmaking depth issues that emerged last season when point guard Immanuel Quickley sustained an injury.

This roster gap frequently forced Scottie Barnes to handle offensive setup responsibilities rather than focusing on defensive duties.

The Raptors front office will determine whether to sign Bradley to a two-way contract or place him directly onto the standard regular season roster.
