New allegations of sexual misconduct have emerged against professional golfer Phil Mickelson, stemming from a 2015 incident involving Ashley Perez, the wife of former PGA Tour player Pat Perez.
The claims were detailed in a report published by golf lifestyle website Skratch on June 26, 2026, written by golf journalist Alan Shipnuck.

Shipnuck said the account underwent rigorous legal review before publication.
According to the report, the alleged incident occurred at Plainfield Country Club in New Jersey during The Barclays tournament.
Ashley Perez stated that Mickelson showed her a full-body nude photograph of himself inside a villa and made an explicit proposition after her husband left the room.
“Phil says to me, ‘I’m going to leave my bedroom door open tonight. When Pat falls asleep I want you to come see me,’” Perez told the website.
Perez, who filed for divorce from Pat Perez in 2023, also described a separate dinner with Mickelson and his agent, Steve Loy, where the conversation allegedly turned inappropriate.
“The conversation turned very dark and sexual because Phil kept taking it there,” she said.
Additionally, Perez claimed she recorded a 26-minute phone conversation in which the six-time major champion apologized for his conduct.
She highlighted what she described as a culture of silence that prevents women from coming forward in the sport.
Mickelson's Team Responds
These allegations follow a separate June 11 report by Golf Digest, which revealed that a female employee at The Farms Golf Club in California accused Mickelson of improper physical contact, described as “nonconsensual and inappropriate physical contact.”
