Argentina rotated nine players from their previous match, keeping only Emiliano Martínez and Lautaro Martínez in the starting lineup.

Giovani Lo Celso opened the scoring in the 19th minute, converting a free kick from the edge of the penalty area into the far corner.
Lautaro Martínez doubled the lead from the penalty spot after a foul on defender Marcos Senesi, scoring just after the half-hour mark.
Jordan responded early in the second half when Musa Tamari converted a cross from the right flank to make it 2-1.
Lionel Messi entered as a substitute and sealed the victory in the 80th minute, curling a free kick past the wall for his sixth goal of the tournament.

Austria and Algeria Draw 3-3
In the other group match, Austria took the lead through Marko Arnautovic before Rafik Belghali equalized for Algeria just before halftime.
Marcel Sabitzer restored Austria's lead early in the second half, but Riyad Mahrez quickly leveled the scoreline.
Mahrez scored again in the third minute of stoppage time to put Algeria ahead 3-2, seemingly securing a late victory.

However, Sasa Kalajdzic scored a dramatic equalizer with a final-minute header to end the match 3-3, a result that sends both nations through to the knockout phase.
