Bangladesh national cricket team will face Zimbabwe in a one-off Test match at Harare Sports Club on Sunday, with the match scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm Bangladesh time.
The fixture is seen as a key opportunity for the visiting side to build long-term confidence through a strong performance in overseas conditions.

Captain Confirms Squad Readiness
Test captain Najmul Hossain Shanto confirmed that the team utilized all available local facilities effectively during training to acclimate to the Harare pitch and environment.
“A number of our players arrived here a few days earlier. Alhamdulillah, the adjustment has gone really well.
I hope we are now fully prepared for the match,” Shanto said.
He added that players who joined later have also adjusted well over the last few days of training, and adapting to conditions should not be an issue during the match.
Shanto indicated that the squad carries positive momentum from recent bilateral series, boosting morale across both batting and bowling units.

“We have had good preparation. Everyone is confident.
We have been playing good cricket in the last few series, and I believe we can produce another good performance in this Test match,” he said.
The leadership views the match as a crucial benchmark for evaluating adaptation strategies before consecutive foreign tours later this year.
“We want to win the match and play good cricket.
We have several away series coming up after this one, so it's important how well we perform here.

If our batters and bowlers can do well, it will help us in those upcoming tours as well,” Shanto added.
