A video tribute from pop star Taylor Swift at country icon Alan Jackson's farewell concert in Nashville drew a mixed response of boos and cheers from the audience.

The event took place on June 27, 2026, at Nissan Stadium, where numerous country music stars gathered to honor Jackson during his final performance in the city.

Live tribute performances were delivered by prominent artists including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, and George Strait.

In addition to live sets, sentimental videos highlighting various chapters of Jackson's career were broadcast on screens next to the stage.

Messages from absent stars such as Keith Urban, Zac Brown, and NASCAR drivers Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. were also played.

The atmosphere shifted late in the evening, just before the headliner took the stage. Grand Ole Opry announcer Kelly Sutton introduced the final video segment.

"We have one more video," Sutton stated.

As Swift's face appeared on the stadium screens, immediate boos from the crowd partially drowned out the beginning of her pre-recorded message.

Some attendees cheered, but onlookers in a stadium suite could only clearly distinguish the conclusion of her remarks.

"I appreciate you so much for the ways that you have just treated me and the other artists and writers with such support and encouragement over the years.

And I am so excited for your show," Swift said.

The video appearance followed Swift's recent presence in Nashville to support her fiancé, NFL player Travis Kelce.
