Maximo Quiles secured the Moto3 pole position for the Tissot Grand Prix of the Netherlands on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

The CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team rider clocked a fastest lap of 1:40.130 at the TT Circuit Assen.

Quiles narrowly beat Joel Kelso by a margin of 0.025 seconds. Brian Uriarte completed the front row of the starting grid in third place, according to racesport.

In the initial Q1 session, Veda Pratama set an early benchmark for Honda Team Asia. He improved his lap time as the session progressed.

The qualifying session proved challenging for CODE Motorsports.

Ruche Moodley crashed early at turn five, and teammate Cormac Buchanan fell shortly after at the Geert Timmer chicane.

Scott Ogden briefly held the top spot midway through Q1. However, Casey O'Gorman surpassed the British rider in the closing stages.

O'Gorman, Ogden, Pratama, and Matteo Bertelle successfully advanced to Q2. They secured the four available advancement spots.

Kelso led the field during the opening runs of Q2. He was closely followed by Pratama and Alvaro Carpe.

Quiles delivered his top lap in the final minutes of qualifying.

This relegated Kelso to second place and left Uriarte in third ahead of Marco Morelli and Adrian Cruces.
