Seven-time singles champion Serena Williams returns to competitive play at Wimbledon on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
The 44-year-old tennis icon will close out day-two action on Centre Court against Maya Joint.

According to reports from the Guardian, this marks Williams' first appearance at SW19 in four years.
Her match is part of a packed schedule that also features defending champion Iga Swiatek facing Taylor Townsend.
British Hopes and Rising Stars
British hopes are led by Katie Boulter, who opens the action on Court 3 against 18-year-old Italian debutant Tyra Caterina Grant.
Grant advanced through three rounds of qualifying to earn her spot.
Grant expressed deep admiration for the American veteran ahead of their respective matches.

"My mum saw Serena play on grass when I was three years old, and that's why I started playing," said Grant, according to Wimbledon.
"Growing up, I feel like I've been compared to [Serena] a lot, so I've always looked up to her."
The teenage prospect previously trained with world No. 1 Jannik Sinner in Italy before changing her sporting allegiance from the United States to Italy last year.
"I had the chance to see him growing up and developing while I was growing up and developing," Grant told the WTA.
"That was great for me, seeing him daily, before knowing that he would become what he's becoming."

The day-two schedule also features former champion Elena Rybakina against Loïs Boisson on Court 1. Other notable appearances include Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, and Taylor Fritz.
