The BBC has adjusted the broadcast schedule for its flagship soap opera EastEnders this week to accommodate live sports coverage on BBC One, including the World Cup and Wimbledon tennis tournament.

Viewers will still receive the usual four weekly episodes, but all transmissions have been moved to BBC Two.

Each episode is also available on the streaming service iPlayer from 6 a. m.

on its scheduled broadcast day.

Schedule Changes

BBC One is pre-empting EastEnders to air the World Cup round of 32 match between Ivory Coast and Norway.

Meanwhile, BBC Two will carry Wimbledon tennis coverage during the traditional early evening time slot.

This week's adjusted schedule includes double episodes aired on Monday, June 29, at 7:30 p. m.

and 8 p. m.

on BBC Two. No episodes will air on Tuesday, June 30, or Friday, July 3.

Single episodes will broadcast at 7:30 p. m.

on Wednesday, July 1, and Thursday, July 2.
