The podium in Austria has boosted confidence within the Milton Keynes-based team as the Formula 1 season moves into its next consecutive race weekend.

"Austria was a great race for us and it felt good to finally fight for the win again.

P2 was a good result and we had good speed," Verstappen said, as quoted by racingnews365. nl.

The Dutch driver expressed satisfaction with the recent on-track battles. "It was also nice to be able to fight on track again," he added.

Silverstone Challenges Ahead

Despite his fondness for the historic venue, the reigning world champion acknowledged that the upcoming race presents unique technical obstacles.

"We go straight into the next race of this double-header. I love the Silverstone circuit and it has a lot of history," Verstappen said.

Verstappen noted that the demands of the British circuit will alter vehicle dynamics compared to the previous round.

"I think it will feel different and more challenging, especially with the energy usage on this circuit," he explained.

Environmental factors and the physical nature of the high-speed corners are expected to test both drivers and machinery.

"Due to the layout and the fast corners, it can be a tough race, but it seems to be warmer than expected, so we'll see," Verstappen said.

The race weekend also serves as a home event for the team, which is headquartered near the circuit, bringing additional off-track commitments.
