The Los Angeles Kings bolstered their roster on July 1, 2026, by signing veteran forward Corey Perry to a one-year, $1 million contract.

The team also added forwards Mikael Haula and Mats Zuccarello, along with defenseman Erik Gustafsson, during the free agency period.

Perry returns to Los Angeles after splitting last season between the Kings and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

He recorded 17 goals and 37 points in 72 regular-season games but went scoreless in seven playoff contests.

The 41-year-old winger has amassed 465 goals and 972 points over 1,464 career games with the Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks, and Edmonton Oilers.

Haula and Zuccarello Add Offensive Depth

Haula agreed to a two-year contract with an average annual value of $3.6 million.

The 35-year-old winger tallied 14 goals and 38 points in 81 games with the Nashville Predators last season.

He also won an Olympic bronze medal with Finland and participated in the 4 Nations Face-Off.

Zuccarello signed a one-year deal with performance bonuses.

The 38-year-old Norwegian posted 15 goals and 54 points in 59 games for the Minnesota Wild last season, adding nine points in eight playoff games.

He has 232 goals and 744 points in 963 career games since entering the league as an undrafted free agent with the New York Rangers in 2010.

Gustafsson joins the Kings' defensive corps, adding experience to the blue line. The moves were reported by TSN Hockey Insiders Pierre LeBrun and Chris Johnston.
