AlphaTheta has introduced the CDJ-1500X, a new media player designed specifically for bars and small clubs. The announcement was made on July 2, 2026.
The CDJ-1500X is the company's first budget-oriented, feature-rich media player since the XDJ-1000MK2 debuted in 2016.

Pricing and Key Features
Priced at $1,699 excluding tax in the United States and €1,699 including VAT in Europe, the CDJ-1500X undercuts the flagship CDJ-3000X by approximately $1,300.
Despite the lower price, it retains most of the screen and cloud functions of its higher-end counterpart.
The unit is noticeably smaller and about 40 percent lighter than the CDJ-3000X. It features a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen that can display up to 15 tracks simultaneously.

Built-in Wi-Fi enables rekordbox CloudDirectPlay and StreamingDirectPlay, granting access to Apple Music, Beatport Streaming, and Tidal.
An NFC touch login system allows for automated playlist integration via mobile devices.
CoBeat Service and Software Update
The CDJ-1500X will ship alongside CoBeat, a new AlphaTheta service that displays crowd song requests directly on the screen.

The supporting rekordbox update is scheduled for release on July 9, 2026.
