Five contestants departed the Love Island UK villa on Thursday, July 2, 2026, after failing to secure a pairing during the reality show's dramatic Casa Amor recoupling segment.
Olivia Sanderson, Nevaeh David, Carlos Borges, Aaron Badibo, and Will Bessant were eliminated from the ITV2 series when none of the original islanders chose to form a couple with them.

The departures followed a tense recoupling process that altered multiple established relationships within the villa.
Prior to the split, the villa contained seven structured couples, but several contestants chose to pursue new romantic connections during the Casa Amor twist.
Simba Kudyiwa's Decision Sparks Emotional Fallout
Simba Kudyiwa returned to the main villa alongside new arrival Mara Pirez, leaving his previous partner Angelista Gunda standing alone.
Presenter Maya Jama questioned Simba regarding his choice and how he felt seeing Gunda by herself.
"Obviously it's not nice to see," replied Simba.
Simba then defended his decision to explore new options during his time away from the main group.
"I would be doing myself a disservice if I wasn't true to myself and open myself up to potential connections," he said.
The decision left Gunda visually distressed at the fire pit. Jama subsequently asked the remaining islander about her immediate reactions to the situation.
"I'm speechless to be honest. I'm livid, I'm trying to hold it together," stated Angelista Gunda.
