During an interview with anchors Sheinelle Jones and Jenna Bush Hager, Crews described the profound impact of the illness.
"This health thing is no joke," said the America's Got Talent host.
The actor discussed the emotional toll and his commitment to supporting his wife. "It gets you down to your core," he said.
"I have to be strong for her."
Crews noted that his wife remains resilient after ten years with the condition during their 37-year marriage. "She has taught me to never accept defeat," he said.
He admitted facing deep emotional vulnerability when considering the long-term implications. "All I can imagine is I can't live without her," said Crews.
According to Crews, his wife quickly dismisses pessimistic thoughts about her prognosis. "No, don't you even think like that.
Let's go," King-Crews told him.
Crews highlighted the global reaction to his wife's decision to go public. "What happened was this wave of love," he said.
The public response brought immense comfort after years of keeping the struggle private.
