Hubert Hurkacz has advanced to the third round of Wimbledon after securing victories in his opening matches.

The Polish tennis player defeated Casper Ruud in three sets and later overcame Sebastian Ofner 7-6 (8), 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday.

Hurkacz acknowledged the difficulty of the match against Ofner. "It wasn't easy, especially in the first set.

Challenge Against Tommy Paul

Hurkacz will now face American Tommy Paul, who advanced by defeating Alexandre Muller and Soonwoo Kwon. The 29-year-old Polish player recognizes the challenge ahead.

"He's an extremely tough opponent, so a big challenge awaits me," Hurkacz admitted.
