Hubert Hurkacz has advanced to the third round of Wimbledon after securing victories in his opening matches.
The Polish tennis player defeated Casper Ruud in three sets and later overcame Sebastian Ofner 7-6 (8), 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday.

Hurkacz acknowledged the difficulty of the match against Ofner. "It wasn't easy, especially in the first set.
The second also gave me a lot of problems. (...
) The win gave me a lot of confidence and good energy," he said in an interview with Tomasz Lorek from Polsat Sport.

Challenge Against Tommy Paul
Hurkacz will now face American Tommy Paul, who advanced by defeating Alexandre Muller and Soonwoo Kwon. The 29-year-old Polish player recognizes the challenge ahead.
"He's an extremely tough opponent, so a big challenge awaits me," Hurkacz admitted.
Historical match records show Paul holds a 3-1 head-to-head advantage over Hurkacz.

Their most recent meeting was in May last year during the quarterfinals in Rome, where Paul won 7-6 (4), 3-6.
