Thai qualifier Mananchaya Sawangkaew has advanced to the third round of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in her career.
She defeated American Alycia Parks 7-5, 6-0 at the Wimbledon Championships on Wednesday.

The 23-year-old, ranked 164th in the world, took an early 2-0 lead in the first set.
Parks, ranked 81st, managed to level the set at 4-4.
Mananchaya broke back in the 11th game to win the opening set.
She then dominated the second set, securing three additional breaks to seal the victory at the All England Club.
Unforced errors played a significant role in the match.
Parks committed 37 unforced errors compared to just 12 from Mananchaya, despite recording a 21-7 advantage in total winners.

The victory makes Mananchaya the second Thai woman to reach the third round at Wimbledon, following Tamarine Tanasugarn.
She earns £185,000 in prize money for her achievement.
Next Opponent
Mananchaya is scheduled to face Czech Republic's tenth seed Karolina Muchova in the round of 32.
Muchova advanced after defeating China's Zhang Shuai 6-3, 6-2.
In other tournament action, fellow Thai player Lanlana Tararudee was eliminated after a 5-7, 5-7 loss to Russian 18th seed Ekaterina Alexandrova.
