The decision comes as millions prepare to celebrate the nation's 250th Independence Day.

The retail giant remains accessible for last-minute holiday shopping during its standard hours.
According to the National Retail Federation, about 87% of Americans plan to celebrate the Fourth of July this year.
Consumers are expected to spend an average of $94.41 on food, while 33% of holiday celebrants intend to buy additional patriotic merchandise.
Most Walmart Supercenter locations, standard stores, and Neighborhood Markets will operate from 6 a. m.
to 11 p. m.

However, specialized departments such as pharmacies, auto care centers, and money services may follow modified schedules.
Company records show that Walmart observes complete closures on only two holidays annually: Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
The retailer routinely keeps its doors open for other major federal holidays throughout the year.
Meanwhile, the Walmart-owned warehouse chain Sam's Club will also welcome shoppers on July 4th but is scheduled to close early at 6 p.
