The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have accepted an invitation from King Charles III to stay in a royal residence during their stay.

According to CNN, the family plans to use a combination of royal estate housing and private accommodations.

Security Dispute Complicates Visit

The visit faces complications after British authorities rejected Prince Harry's request for a taxpayer-funded security package from the Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC).

A spokesperson for the Sussexes stated that the trip remains contingent on appropriate protection throughout their stay.

The dispute centers on the couple's status after stepping back from active royal duties in 2020.

Buckingham Palace officials noted that the public image must reflect their current status to protect the institution, ensuring the visit is not framed as an official engagement.

While staying at a royal residence, the family will be protected under existing security protocols. However, the broader security arrangements remain unreleased.
