The Wimbledon 2026 tennis tournament has moved into its fourth-round matches following a series of major upsets during the opening week.

Play resumed on Sunday, July 5, at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, with the championship running from June 29 to July 12.

Australian player Maya Joint defeated Serena Williams in a three-set singles match on Tuesday, cutting short the American star's comeback.

Following an injury sustained in that match, Serena and her sister Venus Williams withdrew from the doubles competition.

Top-ranked American Ben Shelton was also eliminated in the first round of singles play.

Fourth-Round Schedule Highlights

Centre Court features Novak Djokovic against Roman Safiullin in gentlemen's singles, followed by Aryna Sabalenka facing Naomi Osaka in ladies' singles.

Jannik Sinner will play Shintaro Mochizuki later on the same court.

The singles competition continues with quarter-finals on July 7 and 8, followed by semi-finals.

The ladies' singles final is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, and the gentlemen's singles final will conclude the tournament on Sunday, July 12.
