Mansi discussed the challenges of navigating the entertainment industry after establishing herself within the daytime television landscape. "I think coming from a soap opera ...

I had sort of a similar trajectory in people wanting to put me into a box a bit," she said on Pop Culture with Pat.

Born in Calabasas, California, in 1987, Mansi grew up in a large household. She navigated a complex family dynamic alongside her father's bipolar disorder diagnosis.

Initially focused on pursuing professional dance, she shifted her attention toward theater during high school.

Her drama teacher encouraged her to audition for a school play, which changed her life.

Although offered a dance scholarship to a university in New York, Mansi elected to stay in California.

She attended Pepperdine University in 2005 to study public relations and Italian.

Her grandmother supported her ambitions by financing acting classes. This led to early commercial appearances and a 2008 guest role on "How I Met Your Mother."

Mansi secured her breakout role as Abigail Deveraux on "Days of Our Lives" in 2011. She landed the part directly after experiencing a difficult personal breakup.

"I was just, like, broken and devastated," she said, admitting she broke down in tears in front of casting director Marnie Saitta.

The emotional audition concluded a series of previous attempts to join the daytime drama series.

Mansi subsequently altered her appearance by coloring her hair blonde for the role.
