Real Madrid has officially completed the transfer of Dutch defender Denzel Dumfries from Internazionale, the clubs confirmed on July 7, 2026.
The move ends Dumfries' five-year tenure with the Italian side.

Internazionale released a detailed farewell message through its official channels, celebrating the right-back's contributions since his arrival from PSV Eindhoven in 2021.
The club highlighted his first goal against AS Roma in 2021 and key performances in the Champions League against Barcelona.
"Misschien werden we allemaal verliefd op Denzel Dumfries op die dag in het Olimpico, toen hij na een redding met volle kracht naar voren stormde met zijn onstuitbare snelheid en de aanval afmaakte met een kopbal, waarmee hij zijn eerste doelpunt in een Inter-shirt maakte," the club stated.
Inter recalled several milestone moments from his five seasons, including his late-game heroics in Lecce, crucial assists and goals during the Champions League semi-finals at San Siro, and his passionate Scudetto championship celebrations with fans.
