Guests of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce kept the couple's wedding details confidential for months before the ceremony.
BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James, who attended with his wife Bella Mackie, recently disclosed that he officially received his invitation on March 12.

James shared the details during a July 8 broadcast of All Day Breakfast. He explained that the couple bypassed traditional paper correspondence to maintain discretion.
"The invitation arrived on my phone," he recounted, "in the form of a link in the middle of the night."
The digital notification arrived just before James departed for a charity bike race. Because he was preparing for a demanding journey, he decided to temporarily ignore the message.
"I had to sit with it all week," he continued.
"I basically turned my phone straight off and was like, 'I can't deal with that now, that's way too mad.
I'm about to cycle 1,000 km on a tandem. I can't do this right now.'
So that was it and I didn't tell anyone for the whole week."

The electronic invitation provided minimal details about the event. It specified only "Manhattan," "early evening," and "July 3" as the location and time.
The lack of specific information made James and his wife question the authenticity of the message.
"There was a huge part of us, that me and Bella were like, 'This could not be real.
This could be a scam,'" he confessed. "So until we were in, we thought we may have made a big trip here for nothing.
I wasn't sure until we got there."
The invitation followed a previous public interaction between the radio host and the singer.

Swift had already extended a verbal invitation to James during an appearance on his show in October 2025.
