Kate Lawler, the television presenter and former Big Brother winner, took a dramatic tumble off a chair while serving as a bridesmaid at her brother's wedding reception in Portugal.
The 46-year-old shared a video on Instagram showing her standing on a seat to signal guests to sit down for the reception.
As she waved her arms, she bounced slightly, lost her footing, and fell backward onto the floor.
After rolling onto her front, family members quickly helped her back up.
Unharmed, she immediately climbed back onto the chair to finish her announcement, with her father standing behind to prevent another fall.
"This is why I shouldn't drink alcohol," Lawler wrote in her caption, later joking that she was a "broken woman" as Céline Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" played in the background.
The post drew amused reactions from fans and fellow celebrities.
"Bloody brilliant," commented Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh.
TV presenter Anna Williamson also reacted, writing, "Pahahahahahaha iconic."
One fan praised her handling of the moment: "You styled it out bloody hilarious."

Following the event, Lawler shared a second video relaxing in a car with a face mask while traveling home from the three-day celebration.

I'm done. I'm done in."
The lighthearted updates come after Lawler recently wrote an essay for Metro about her family life and decision to have one child with her husband, Martin.
"As the world gets crazier, I've never been more secure in my belief that my family of three is perfect," she wrote, noting that her husband spent six years persuading her to have their daughter, Noa.
Reflecting on the decision, she expressed confidence: "It was the best decision we've ever made."
She also addressed public scrutiny over not having more children.
"I don't know if it's ever possible to escape mum guilt.
All women are shamed over their parenting choices at some point, whether we have one child, 10, or happily choose to find fulfilment without ever becoming a parent at all," Lawler explained.
