Mitsuoka Motors has released a second teaser of its upcoming roadster, confirming the car's retro styling will draw heavily from the C1 Corvette.
The teaser shows the front quarter of the two-seat convertible, with quad headlights and proportions that echo the post-1958 Corvette.

More teasers are scheduled for August and September before the full debut in November 2026.
Likely Mazda MX-5 Underpinnings
Based on proportions, the unnamed roadster is expected to be built on the Mazda MX-5 platform.
Mitsuoka has a history of rebodying production cars, with the Rock Star (2018) and Himiko both using MX-5 underpinnings.

The design sketch, signed by Takanori Aoki, shows round headlights, a large grille, side gills, and sculpted rear fenders.
If based on the MX-5 ND, it will likely use a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 181 hp, paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Mitsuoka plans to release further details on social media and a dedicated website in the coming months.
