The Bospop music festival in Weert turned its Nocturna camping club into a rock venue on Thursday evening, July 9, 2026, to host what organizers call the world's largest listening session for the new Rolling Stones album, Foreign Tongues.
Festival attendees staying at the campgrounds heard the complete album one day ahead of its official global release on Friday, July 10.

The exclusive pre-release event was organized by Bospop in direct cooperation with Universal Music.
While Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood are not attending the festival in person, the organization secured special authorization from the band to host the massive gathering.
"But it is very special that we can organize this," said Nicky Fischer, a representative of Bospop.
"The opportunity came along and the timing fit perfectly with our festival."
The Nocturna camping club accommodates up to 5,000 visitors, giving the event a larger capacity than other global fan sessions because it is directly tied to a major festival infrastructure.
"Listening sessions are being organized for fans all over the world, but because we linked it to our festival campsite, this is the largest of them all," Fischer said.
The total turnout remains variable as festival-goers holding camping passes can enter the grounds starting Thursday but may continue arriving throughout the weekend.

"Visitors with a camping ticket can enter the grounds from Thursday, but they can also arrive at a later time this weekend," Fischer explained.
"So exactly how grand the listening session will be remains to be seen."
Foreign Tongues marks the 25th studio album by The Rolling Stones, featuring brand new tracks alongside collaborations with Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, and Robert Smith of The Cure.
The album also includes a song recorded in 2021 shortly before the death of longtime drummer Charlie Watts.
The listening event ran from 8:00 p. m.
