Denza, the BYD-owned brand, unveiled its tri-motor, four-seat Z supercar at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The electric machine produces 1,582 hp and can reach 62 mph in as little as 1.96 seconds, while its battery can charge from 10 to 97 percent in just nine minutes.

Denza confirmed three trims: Spider, Coupe, and Racing. A hardcore Special Edition with over 1,973 hp is also in the works.
Pricing That Undercuts Porsche
The Coupe starts at £142,900 (about €167,400 / $191,400) in the UK. That's less than a 911 Carrera 4 GTS, which costs £145,900.
The open-top Spider is priced at £159,900 (€187,300 / $214,100), while the track-focused Racing version costs £172,900 (€202,500 / $231,500).
For comparison, a new 911 Turbo S starts at £199,500.
In China, local estimates put the price between ¥400,000 and ¥500,000 ($58,600–$73,200), highlighting the impact of shipping and tariffs on the UK price.
Tri-Motor Powertrain and Performance
All versions ride on Denza's new e3 Sports Car Platform with a triple-motor setup: one motor drives the front axle, and two independently power the rear wheels.
Combined output is 1,582 hp and 915 lb-ft of torque.
The Coupe hits 62 mph in 2.25 seconds, while the Racing trim cuts that to 1.96 seconds with optional semi-slick tires and raises the top speed from 186 mph to 217 mph.
A fourth model, the Z Special Edition, makes over 1,973 hp and reaches 62 mph in under 1.7 seconds.
