The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have issued an Amber Alert following the abduction of a six-year-old boy from Valhalla Centre, a hamlet northwest of Grande Prairie near the Alberta-British Columbia border.
Authorities are searching for Lanakai Morrison, who is described as having a slight build, brown eyes, and long, light-brown hair.

Police believe the child is traveling with his 35-year-old mother, Krista Morrison, and her partner, 35-year-old Daniel Ludwig.
The suspects are reportedly driving a black 2015 Toyota Tundra with Alberta license plate CTN9517.
Krista Morrison is described as 173 centimeters tall with a medium build, brown eyes, and long, dark brown hair.

Ludwig is described as 180 centimeters tall with a large build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
A second child, four-year-old Karl Morrison, may also be accompanying the suspects in the vehicle, according to RCMP information.

Law enforcement urges the public not to approach the suspects, children, or vehicle if spotted, and to call 911 immediately.
