Congo Brands Australia, the local distributor of the influencer-backed Prime drink brand, has been placed under administration following substantial financial losses.
Alice Fay Ruhe of Ruhe Group took control of the Melbourne-based company on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, according to an insolvency appointment.

The company, launched in 2022 with backing from internet personalities Logan Paul and KSI, reported a net loss of $1.42 million for the 2024 financial year, as per documents filed with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
Financial records also show the distributor had $7.92 million in unpaid invoices while holding only $85,000 in liquid cash, the Herald Sun reported.
Creditors Meeting and Legal Action
A formal meeting for creditors has been scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2026, to discuss the ongoing administration process.

In addition to internal debt, the distributor faces legal action from suppliers.
Packaging operator Orora has filed a wind-up application to recover outstanding debts, with a Federal Court hearing set for July 31, 2026.
