Mercedes-AMG appears to be developing a hardcore version of its GT 4-Door EV. Spy photographers recently caught a lightly camouflaged prototype testing.
The car seems to be based on the GT 63 variant. It features a more pronounced front splitter, a ventilated hood, and a sizable rear wing.

The rear spoiler also looks taller than the standard model.
Potential Performance Boost
While the exterior changes are subtle, the powertrain is likely upgraded.
The current GT 63 produces 1,153 hp and 1,475 lb-ft of torque from three axial flux motors, hitting 60 mph in 2.3 seconds.
The GT 55, with 805 hp, does 0-60 in 2.7 seconds. Both share a 106 kWh battery pack on the AMG.

EA platform. The hardcore variant is expected to exceed the GT 63's output.
Inside, the prototype likely retains the standard layout: a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14-inch infotainment system, and a 14-inch front passenger display.
AMG Performance steering wheel and seats may be included.

More details are expected as development continues. The new model will join the GT 55 and GT 63 in the lineup.
