Audi is developing a more powerful version of the S6 e-tron, recently spotted testing near the Nürburgring.
The model was initially thought to be an RS6, but reports suggest it may be a Performance variant instead.

Last year, rumors indicated Audi had canceled the RS6 e-tron.
However, prototypes continued to appear, and the latest sighting supports the idea of a Performance trim rather than a full RS model.
Sportier Styling Inside and Out
The prototype features a more aggressive front bumper with revised intakes, horizontal slats, vertical air curtains, and a honeycomb mesh pattern.
New front fender vents and sportier side skirts enhance the look.
Large wheels with a high-performance braking system and red calipers are visible.
At the rear, a new bumper and sportier diffuser join a familiar spoiler carried over from the standard S6.

The model will be offered in Sportback and Avant body styles. The Avant prototype was seen with mismatched wheels, but otherwise appears identical to its sibling.
Inside, the cabin likely includes an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch infotainment system, an optional 10.9-inch front passenger display, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and sport seats.
Performance Expectations
While specifications remain undisclosed, the standard S6 e-tron produces up to 543 hp from a dual-motor all-wheel drive system with a 100 kWh battery.
It accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds and reaches 149 mph.
The Performance variant will undoubtedly be more powerful.
Earlier rumors suggested the RS6 e-tron could have around 805 hp, but that figure seems optimistic if this is not a full RS model.
