The new season continues following three generations of a dairy farming family struggling to modernize their operation while facing personal and criminal challenges.
The current season expands on unresolved plotlines from the previous installment, where the family faced severe financial burdens, threats from local wildlife affecting their livestock, and health issues for family member Dinant.
The previous season concluded with the family's barn being used for illegal drug manufacturing, as well as the birth of a new family member.
In the latest episodes, Dinant encounters operational difficulties while attempting to manage the farm's cheesemaking operations without prior expertise.
