Xpeng's CEO has expressed hope of launching the brand in the United States, calling it one of the most important markets globally.
In an interview with WardsAuto, He Xiaopeng said, “America will be one of the most important markets that we have to enter because it will help us to grow better.”

The Chinese automaker delivered 103,295 vehicles in the first half of the year and is already expanding in Europe.
Potential US Manufacturing
Xpeng could build plants in America if allowed to enter the market.
Xiaopeng noted, “If the U. S.
policy allows for companies like us to stay or enter the market and build factories there, definitely we’ll embrace that decision.”

President Trump has previously indicated openness to Chinese automakers building factories and hiring American workers.
However, banning Chinese vehicles remains a rare point of bipartisan agreement, making a US launch unlikely in the near term.
Polestar, which assembled vehicles in the US, was banned while Volvos from the same plant were allowed.

Xpeng plans to first enter Canada as a trial run, with a long-term strategy to establish itself as a lasting brand there.
