The LEGO Group has officially revealed its upcoming 71053 Shrek Collectible Minifigures series, set to launch globally on September 1, 2026.
Each blind box will retail at $4.99 in the United States.

The announcement was made on July 23, 2026, expanding LEGO's partnership with the DreamWorks Animation franchise.
This follows the release of the 1,403-piece 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots set earlier in June, ahead of the theatrical release of Shrek 5 in 2027.
Character Lineup and Special Features
The series includes 12 distinct characters: Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots, Lord Farquaad, Dragon, Pinocchio, Gingy, Merlin, Thelonious, Fairy Godmother, and the Big Bad Wolf.
Several characters come with specialized accessory builds. Fiona is paired with Donkey as her accessory, while Lord Farquaad includes a Magic Mirror printed piece.

The Three Blind Mice are split across three character packs—Puss in Boots, Pinocchio, and the Big Bad Wolf—as accessories.
The minifigures are packaged in mystery blind boxes with scannable QR codes on the outer packaging.
A full retail box contains 36 packages, typically yielding three complete sets of 12 figures.

This series follows LEGO's earlier 2026 collectible minifigure releases: Series 28 in January and Series 29 in May.
