Montreal Alouettes quarterback Davis Alexander threw his first regular-season interception after 357 pass attempts during Sunday night's game against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Percival Molson Stadium.
The turnover occurred late in the second quarter, with the Alouettes leading 10-8 at halftime.

Montreal kicker Jose Maltos-Diaz opened the scoring with a 17-yard field goal. Hamilton responded with a 100-yard kickoff return touchdown by Isaiah Wooden.
Quarterback Terry Wilson later scored his first touchdown for Montreal on a one-yard run.
Entering the contest with a 5-1 record, the Alouettes offense averaged a league-leading 460.7 yards and ranked second with 34.7 points per game.
Alexander threw for 2,181 yards and 11 touchdowns through six games, relying heavily on receiver Tyson Philpot, who led the CFL with 807 receiving yards.
Montreal boosted its offensive roster with receiver Alexander Hollins returning from injury and returner Devonte Dedmon making his season debut.
Hamilton entered without injured starting quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell, leaning on Tre Ford, who recorded 156 rushing yards over 14 carries in previous action.
The Alouettes also benefited from dynamic running back play, following Travis Theis's 123-yard rushing performance against the Calgary Stampeders the prior week.
Coach Maas Praises Running Game
Alouettes head coach Jason Maas praised the team's offensive line and rushing attack during preparation for Hamilton's fourth-ranked run defense.
"I am very happy with the running game since the start of the season," Maas said.
"I like how our offensive line is playing, the schemes we are using. I believe we are putting a lot of pressure on opposing defenses."
