R&B superstar Usher halted a seductive onstage performance segment and requested a fan be escorted offstage after she appeared uncomfortable during his July 25 concert at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The incident occurred during a stop on Usher's joint North American stadium tour with Chris Brown.

After inviting attendee Gabrielle Cheyenne onto a bed placed on stage during his song "Can U Handle It?"

, Usher noticed her reserved reaction, backed away, and addressed the crowd.

"I don't think she want to be on the stage," Usher said.

He then gestured for staff to guide her away, prompting significant discussion across social media platforms after video clips of the moment circulated widely online.

"I don't think she wanna be onstage, y'all," Usher said to the audience during the performance.

Following online backlash from viewers mocking her demeanor, Cheyenne addressed the situation in a public social media post.

"First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good asf, you thought I wasn't gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me??

On the big screen, where you bitches will never be????" she wrote.

Cheyenne's mother also posted a photo showing her daughter alongside Usher's wife after the concert to defend her behavior.

"Usher's WIFE & Gabrielle Cheyenne AFTER THE STAGE APPEARANCE !! YA'LL!!

SHE AIN'T MAD SO Y TF YA'LL MAD!?" Cheyenne's mother wrote.

Usher and Chris Brown are scheduled to continue their joint R&B tour with their next show on July 28 in Birmingham, Alabama.
