Former Ajax forward Dusan Tadic has agreed to join NEC Nijmegen on a two-year contract, with a medical scheduled for Monday morning.
The 37-year-old Serbian attacker becomes a free agent after his contract with UAE side Al-Wahda expired at the end of last season.

Although initial reports suggested Tadic would pursue lucrative options elsewhere in the UAE, talks with NEC backer Marcel Boekhoorn and head coach Dick Schreuder convinced him to return to the Eredivisie.
Schreuder presented his sporting vision during recent discussions, persuading Tadic to choose the Dutch side over financially superior offers abroad.
Technical director Carlos Aalbers previously considered the transfer unlikely due to competing international interest, but the club moved forward after securing Tadic's commitment.
Tadic previously spent five seasons in the Netherlands with FC Groningen, FC Twente, and Ajax before his spell in the Middle East.
His arrival strengthens NEC's attacking options ahead of the upcoming campaign.

Other Eredivisie Transfers
PSV Eindhoven has halted negotiations to sign midfielder Kodai Sano from NEC, refusing to meet the asking price of approximately 20 million euros including bonuses, as reported by Eindhovens Dagblad.
"If NEC's position does not change, Sano will normally not move to PSV.
Only if a few million are taken off the price could that still happen," according to the report.
Sano previously attracted interest from German club Hoffenheim, which ultimately selected Belgian prospect Nathan De Cat instead.
Meanwhile, AZ Alkmaar signed 21-year-old left-back Sam de Grand from Lommel SK on a contract through 2030.

Striker Danilo joined Brazilian side Botafogo on a one-year loan from Rangers after spending last season at NEC.
