Energy giant Shell plc has acquired 70,010 of its own ordinary shares for cancellation, according to regulatory filings.

The transaction took place on July 24, 2026, on the London Stock Exchange as part of an ongoing buyback program launched on May 7, 2026.

The shares were purchased at a volume-weighted average price of £33.0823 per share.

During the session, prices reached a high of £33.2650 and a low of £32.9050.

Investment bank Goldman Sachs International executed the transactions on behalf of Shell. Goldman Sachs makes trading decisions independently within pre-set parameters established through July 24, 2026.

This latest repurchase follows a previous buyback on July 22, 2026, when Shell bought 75,000 shares at an average price of £33.0385 per share.

All shares acquired under the program are intended for cancellation to optimize capital structure and return value to shareholders.

Shell conducted the buyback in compliance with Chapter 9 of the UK Listing Rules and applicable UK and EU Market Abuse Regulations.
