The donation directly aids the N. Y.

Police and Fire Widows' & Children's Benefit Fund, which provides financial relief to families of NYPD, FDNY, PAPD, and EMS personnel killed in the line of duty.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani confirmed Swift also paid over $160,000 to cover police security costs incurred during the ceremony.

Gratitude from the Foundation and Families

Executive Director Lauren Profeta praised the couple on Instagram for their commitment to honoring fallen heroes.

“We are extremely grateful to Taylor and Travis for their incredible support of Answer the Call,” Profeta said.

“Their extraordinary donation will ensure that we can continue to provide much-needed financial assistance to the families of New York City’s fallen first responders.”

In a separate social media statement, the foundation highlighted the direct effect of the contribution on surviving families.

“Taylor and Travis, thank you for your incredible generosity and for standing with the families of fallen New York City first responders,” Answer The Call stated.

“Your gift will make a tangible difference in their lives.”
