Streaming platform Hulu has debuted its new crime thriller series Furious, an eight-episode exploration of the tense relationship between an FBI agent and a calculating female serial killer.

The show premiered on July 27, 2026, with a three-episode release. The remaining episodes will be released weekly, culminating in a season finale on August 31, 2026.

Plot and Cast

Created and executive produced by Liz Meriwether, Furious follows FBI Agent Alice Black, played by Emmy Rossum, as she pursues a murderer portrayed by Lola Petticrew.

The killer is not indiscriminate; she targets men who have committed past wrongdoings without facing legal consequences.

Rossum also serves as an executive producer under Composition 8, alongside Ronald Bass, Matt Olmstead, and Sam Hoffman.

Director Brian Kirk helmed the first two episodes, with additional direction from Karena Evans, Destiny Ekaragha, Cory Finley, Colleen McGuinness, and Beatrice Morgan.

The supporting cast includes Quincy Tyler Bernstine as a senior FBI sex crimes agent leading the investigation, given the killer's background as a former sex worker.

Scoot McNairy, Jake Lacy, and Steve Way also appear in key roles throughout the season.
