Ajax is finalizing a loan deal to acquire striker Tolu Arokodare from Wolverhampton Wanderers, following a sharp dispute between the Nigerian forward and his English club.
The agreement includes an option for the Dutch club to make the transfer permanent for 20 million euros.

Both teams are currently completing the final administrative details to secure the move.
Training Ground Incident
The transfer follows severe friction at Wolverhampton Wanderers, where head coach Cesar Peixoto excluded Arokodare from the main squad due to ongoing transfer negotiations.
According to English journalist Nathan Judah, Arokodare refused to leave the pitch during a training match, forcing Peixoto to halt the entire session and dismiss all players from the field.

Wolverhampton subsequently hired extra security to bar the striker from accessing the training facility for the remainder of the week.
The prospective move to Amsterdam provides an exit after the nearly two-meter-tall forward struggled in England, scoring just six Premier League goals after arriving from KRC Genk for 27 million euros.
