Nvidia shares dropped 5.02 percent to $196.46 on July 27, 2026, as investor concerns over artificial intelligence infrastructure spending and broader market caution weighed on the semiconductor giant.

The stock is now trading near a crucial technical support zone at $193.00, which aligns with its 200-day moving average.

On the upside, resistance sits at $214.00 near the 50-day moving average.

Leveraged funds tracking Nvidia also declined.

The Direxion Daily NVDA Bull 2X Shares fell 4 percent to $120.17 on Monday, with light volume during the session.

Financial Performance and Guidance

Despite the recent pullback, Nvidia reported strong fundamentals.

In its fiscal first quarter, the company generated $48.554 billion in quarterly free cash flow and posted non-GAAP gross margins of 75.0 percent.

Management guided for second-quarter revenue of approximately $91.0 billion. Long-term projections remain robust, driven by data center operations and its software ecosystem.

Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang addressed the competitive landscape on the recent earnings call. "The AI race is not just about chips.

It's about which stack the world runs on," he said.

Investors are now focused on Nvidia's fiscal 2027 second-quarter financial report, scheduled for August 26, 2026.
